On June 17, 2023, MIX Nashville held its very first event—a community picnic born from the vision and hard work of a few dedicated individuals who believed non-monogamous folks in Nashville deserved better ways to connect. Since then, this community has grown beyond that humble beginning, thanks to all of you who’ve come out, connected, shared, and stepped up to help shape what MIX is today. We’ve now evolved into a formal organization with a Board of Directors, a leadership team, educational programming, a podcast network, and a growing, vibrant community across Middle Tennessee.
We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s picnic will take place on August 23rd, 2025, at the original location—Fannie Mae Dees Park (“Dragon Park”)—with burgers, hot dogs, cake, and your delicious potluck dishes. If you haven’t been to a Mix event before, this would be a great way to connect with the community. So bring your favorite drink and dish to share.
