Can it possibly have been a year already? Believe it or not, it has!

That’s right – almost exactly a year ago, we held our first MIX Nashville event at Fanny Mae Dees park and started some awesome friendships that have grown as more and more people have come out to see us at various places – and it all started with a picnic.
Please come out and see us on June 15, 2024 at 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Shelter 1 at Sevier Park and have some burgers, eat some cake, and catch up with everyone as we celebrate MIX Nashville’s first birthday! We’ll have some games to play, music to vibe to, and of course – awesome people to talk with!

ALSO – we’re going to be wrapping up our first charity/”giving back” event; we’re going to be finishing up a clothing drive we started at our #SOURMIX event on May 15 to benefit The Lavender Closet Project (IG: @thelavenderclosetproject), which is a mutual-aid group providing affirming clothing for LGBTQ folx in the Murfreesboro, TN, area! Check your closets and see if you have any new or gently-used clothing (or stuff like hangers, clothing bags, clothing racks, etc.) and bring it out. Please note:  they don’t accept intimates or binders of any kind, even if they’re new. We’ll have plenty of room and people available to help us get donations to where they need to go at this event, so if you haven’t participated or made a donation before now, please PLEASE help us give this very worthy group the hook up with clothing donations! (One note – we listed the Community Center as the location for this event, but that’s really more for map purposes – we’ll be in Shelter 1, so keep your eyes out for signs/arrows to where we are from parking, or just look for people you know? 😀 )
