One of our most enjoyed events from last year is making a return this year –  floating down the Harpeth River on  river tubes and with Sunshine’s Adventures!

The trip, which will launch at 10:30AM SHARP on August 17, 2024 will consist of up to 30 of us, all lashed together (with five extra tubes to hold our personal items and coolers) where we’ll lazily float down the river while we talk, yell, imbibe, laugh, debate, swim and generally have a fantastic time together. 🙂

This event is sincerely a full six hours – there are no off ramps, so clear the day – take the day from work, send the kids to the grandparents for the day (or the overnight if you can) – just clear the time. (We promise – the effort will be worth it.)

Each ticket is $45, and this gets you:

• Your tube;
• Life Vest;
• Paddle (Optional); and
• A ride back to your car at the end.

You should bring:

• Proper outdoor attire: no cotton or denim
• Sun protection: sunscreen, UPF clothing, hats, etc
• Foot protection: crocs, clogs, closed toed water shoes, etc
• Hydration preference: bring plenty – both actual drinking water and whatever libation you might enjoy most?
• Snacks or picnics in water tight containers
• Towel and/or dry clothes to leave in your car

We’ll make sure there are trash bags for any garbage we’ll need to pack out, as well as a cooler or two and some ice for you to stow your tasty beverages (of whatever kind you’d like) while we float.
