MIX Nashville has adopted Cleeces Boat Ramp in Charlotte Park as part of the Adopt-a-Stream program. This partnership with Cumberland River Compact and Nashville DOT matches groups of volunteers with key locations to prevent litter from entering our waterways. We are excited to expand MIX Nashville’s community involvement by making a tangible impact!

Please dress appropriately for the weather, with sturdy shoes, sunscreen, bugspray, and bring a water bottle. All litter grabbers, gloves, and trash bags will be provided, but feel free to bring additional tools that might assist. If anyone would like to bring their kayak to reach items along the bank it could help.

We are committed to having an annual clean-up of Cleeces Boat Ramp, but plan to have a second this fall and a third in the spring. Children are welcome at their parents’ discretion. This is currently a high crime area at night, but quiet during the day. We hope our support of the area can influence how it is utilized.
