DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nOur next meeting of MIX's #TRAILMIX outdoor hiking grou
 p will be on February 18\, 2024&nbsp\;at 10:00AM\, and we'd love to see yo
 u there! We'll be hiking a portion of the&nbsp\;Shelby Bottoms Greenway in
  East Nashville\, weather permitting.\nFrom Greenways for Nashville:\n\n\n
 The Shelby Bottoms Greenway extends from the heart of Shelby Park\, past t
 he Shelby Bottoms Nature Center\, and throughout Shelby Bottoms – a 950-
 acre floodplain preserve along the Cumberland River. The Shelby Bottoms Gr
 eenway features relatively flat and meandering\, multi-use greenway pathwa
 y\, river overlooks\, and an internal observation platform for studying th
 e local ecosystem. The greenway also leads to the parks’ unpaved nature 
 trails\, the Cornelia Fort Air Park\, and the tremendous Cumberland River 
 Pedestrian Bridge that joins to the Stones River Greenway.\n\nWe'll all me
 et up at the Shelby Bottoms Trailhead &amp\; Nature Center before heading 
 out - so register and let us know how many people we need to wait on befor
 e we set off? :) Please bring some water with you\, and if you have a dog 
 that likes people and can walk on a leash of six feet or less\, bring them
  too! :)\n\n\n\n\n
