If you happened to miss our August #FULLMIX event where we went tubing as a group on the Harpeth River, you’re in luck! Due to popular demand, we’re gonna try floating down the Harpeth River with Sunshine’s Adventures again at the end of September – when, fingers crossed, it maybe won’t be as insanely hot as it was at the end of August?
The trip, which will launch at 12:30 on September 24, 2023 will consist of up to 12 us, all lashed together (with four extra tubes to hold our personal items and coolers) where we’ll lazily float down the river while we talk, yell, swim and generally have a fantastic time together. 🙂 We learned from our last trip that your time on the river is not short – this will legit be a 6 hour ride down the river. The good news is that the company is fantastic, so the time goes really really quick! Just don’t plan any early dinner reservations, m’kay? 😉
Each ticket is $45 (the price went up a bit because we have a smaller group, and PayPal has to take their cut); this gets you:
- Your tube;
- Life Vest;
- Paddle (Optional); and
- A ride back to your car at the end.
You should bring:
- Proper outdoor attire: no cotton or denim
- Sun protection: sunscreen, UPF clothing, hats, etc
- Foot protection: crocs, clogs, closed toed water shoes, etc
- Hydration preference: bring plenty
- Snacks or picnics in water tight containers
- Towel and/or dry clothes to leave in your car
We’ll make sure there are trash bags for any garbage we’ll need to pack out, as well as a cooler or two and some ice for you to stow your tasty beverages (of whatever kind you’d like) while we float.
